Harley Earl’s Private Office at General Motors Design Center/1950’s

Well, let’s go with a little bit of design. Harley Earl was a visionary industrial designer who create the first concept car (Buick Y-Job), the first automotive tailfins, the Corvette…

But what we have here today is his private office. Designed by himself, of course. And it’s full of wonders: the wood, the retractable lamp/air vent, the phone, the “rpm gage” clock… but those chair legs are amazing, looks like the chair is gonna lift off in any moment.

By the way, I need that 1954 Firebird I model, and I need it now.
